Introduction: Essential thrombocythemia is a myeloproliferative neoplasm characterized by an increased platelet count, megakaryocytic hyperplasia, and a higher hemorrhagic incidence. Diagnostic aids include: hemogram, blood smear or genetic studies. Patients who are asymptomatic do not require treatment in most cases, however, there are treatments such as provision of antiplatelet drugs. For dental care it is essential; multidisciplinary consultation, carrying out the necessary consultation with the specialist, clinical considerations in the use of anesthetic techniques, avoiding injury to the mucous membranes and the use of absolute isolation. Case Report: Male patient, 10 years and 3 months old, diagnosed with Essential Thrombocythemia, went to the Child and Adolescent Stomatology clinic with the presence of pulp necrosis and acute apical abscess of the permanent lower first right molar, indicated for treatment of pulpectomy. A multidisciplinary management was carried out between specialists from: Hematology, Endodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Conclusions: Among the skills that the Stomatologist of children and adolescents must develop is knowing the comprehensive approach that must be taken with patients with systemic involvement to intervene in a timely manner in their stomatological management.
