Injected Resins in Pediatric Dentistry
Keywords:
injected resin, Pediatric DentistryAbstract
Introduction: More than 90% of our children are infected with cavities and of these cavities the antero-superior sector is the most affected, so we need materials and techniques that are much faster and more efficient to be able to restore aesthetics and function. In this case we are using a technique that is widely used in adults and we are applying it to children such as injected resins. Objective: Achieve aesthetics in the anterior-superior sector with a quick procedure. Method: The injected resin technique that is applied in adults was performed on children. Following these steps: isolate, clean and prepare the dental cavity. If it is to be used in deep cavities, use an appropriate base. Etch the dentin with etch. Select the appropriate tone. Place the fluid resin. Fill the small gaps. Photopolymerize. Finish with finishing and polishing. Results: Optimal result. Conclusions: The objective was achieved, which was to achieve aesthetics in anterior-superior temporal pieces in record time.
