Introduction: Hemophilia is an inherited bleeding disorder that predisposes individuals to excessive bleeding. Due to coagulation problems and potential complications in dental care, it is essential to understand updated guidelines for managing these patients, based on clinical protocols and scientific evidence. Objective: To establish guidelines for the management of dental emergencies in patients with hemophilia, based on literature published between 2004 and 2023. Review: An integrative review was conducted through searches in PubMed, Scopus, SciELO, and specialized websites. Rayyan was used to organize the articles. The selection (n = 110) was carried out independently by the authors, based on the reading of titles and abstracts. The information was categorized into general aspects of hemophilia, dental care, professional knowledge, and emergency management. Conclusions: Dental management of patients with hemophilia requires prevention, education, and interdisciplinary coordination. In emergencies, suturing and tranexamic acid are effective in controlling bleeding; in severe cases, factor replacement is necessary. For infections, minimally invasive procedures and antibiotics are prioritized. Acetaminophen is the recommended analgesic. In cases of trauma, hemostatic measures and factor replacement should be applied. Recommendations: Further specific studies are needed on the management of dental emergencies, as most existing research focuses on general or planned care.
