Abstract

Introduction: The ethical formation of the pediatric dentist requires more than just the transmission of norms; it calls for a transversal bioethics education that is deeply humanistic and contextualized to Latin American realities. Objective: To propose a comprehensive educational model that integrates bioethical content with clinical practice, research, and teaching, from a critical and transformative perspective. Methodology: Through active strategies, reflective assessment, and a child-rights-centered approach, the goal is to shape an ethical, empathetic, and socially committed professional. Conclusion: The proposed model addresses current educational challenges and advocates for a pediatric dentistry that combines scientific knowledge with human sensitivity.
